　　Please Note: this is primarily a standard/day shift role but will require schedule flexibility at times, based on needs.

　　The Quality Specialist will have direct activities in development, application, and maintenance of quality. This person will work with a team to ensure final products meet our company's standards across the board.

　　WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING :

　　-Prepares and implements quality assurance policies and procedures.

　　-Reviews operations procedures, investigations, production records, quality control records, and corrective and preventative actions.

　　-Assists in acquiring ISO9001 certificate and maintaining system.

　　-Assist in the migration from paper to electronic records.

　　-Investigates root causes of customer complaints and nonconformance reports.

　　-Creates training materials.

　　-Documents quality assurance activities and creates audit reports.

　　-Ensure timely escalation to management of all applicable incidents.

　　-Recognize and bring all irregularities to the attention of the appropriate supervisor.

　　-Conveys quality issues to production staff as required.

　　-Knowledge of Production line processes and awareness of any changes.

　　-Thorough knowledge of the HMDR (hold material disposition report) and on hold procedures.

　　-Review manufacturing process operations for conformance to standards as outlined in audit work instructions for the area assigned.

　　WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR :

　　-5+ years of QA experience or relevant GMP work experience with 2+ years QA experience.

　　-Experience with ISO9001, PPAP, and IATF 16949 preferred.

　　-Experience conducting quality investigations, root cause analysis, and quality risk assessment.

　　-Strong attention to detail and organization.

　　-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

　　-Certificate in quality assurance, such as an Internal Quality Auditor is a plus.

　　-Experience with MasterControl and SAP is a plus.

　　-Strong team player who effectively collaborates with internal departments.

　　The annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000. All positions come with a company bonus and stock options. The actual base pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.
