JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Details Position Type Full Time Job Shift 1stshift (M-F 7a-3:30p) Description *Willing to train the rightindividual* JOB SUMMARY: Inspects materials and products, such as sheetstock, weldments, machine shop parts, and metal castings for conformanceto specifications, quality standards, dimensional accuracy, and customerrequirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Works fromsketches, routings, and product specifications. Conducts final visualinspection of details and sub-assemblies. Scans and hyperlinks suppliercertifications and calibration records. Assists in performing simplereceiving inspection operations, checking for conformance tospecifications and PO requirements. Examines material and product forsurface defects, such as cracks, pits, dents, burrs, nicks, andincomplete welds. Compares product with parts list or sample model toensure completion of assembly. Analyzes and rejects defective parts.Identifies type of defect on part, container of parts, or inspectiontag. Confers with or refers critical inspection problems to QualitySupervisor for determination. In coordination with the MaintenanceDepartment, performs preventive maintenance on inspection equipment.Performs associated Lab Technician duties governed by NADCAP formetallurgical and plasma processes, as applicable. Proceeds undergeneral supervision. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of and conformitywith Ace Precision Quality System work instruction requirements thatgovern Quality operations. Maintains or exceeds production standardsthrough efficient organization and planning. Follows and complies withsafety policies and procedures. Accurately completes all requireddocumentation. Meets attendance policy requirements. Contributes to teameffort by assisting in areas as needed.
