Details:Job Title: NDT Quality InspectorPay Rate: $24 / HrLocation: Kent, WAArea Code: 253ZIP Code: 98032Start Date: Right AwayShift: 1st ShiftKeywords: #QualityInspector #ManufacturingJobs #SeattleJobsBenefits:* Medical with prescription, Dental, Vision from hire date* Flexible Spending Accounts (Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA)* 13 paid holidays annually, 10 days of vacation and 5 sick days* Annual Cash Incentive Plan (bonus)* $50,000 Life Insurance Policy from hire date* 401k with company match of 5%* Employee Assistance Program* Optional Personal Accident Insurance* Free Will Preparation* Retirement Income Account* EY Financial Planning Program* Education (tuition) Reimbursement* Adoption Assistance Program* Alternate Work Schedule* Anniversary Recognition* Employee Events and Community Service Volunteer opportunitiesJob Description:Perform non-destructive testing on a variety of sheet metal aircraft components.Responsibilities:* Process complex parts and interpret findings in accordance with Exotic and customerspecifications and requirements.* Follow established NDT technique sheets and ensures any revisions to establishedtechniques meet Exotic and customer requirements.* Responsible for creating, evaluating and approving technique sheets used in the FPI,Radiographic and Digital X-Ray Inspection process.* Detect faulty processes and provide corrective action for their resolution.* Verify all Customer requirements are met prior to implementation.* Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of NDT methods and techniques and proposesolutions to problems which impact productivity.* Responsible for auditing and verify performance adequacy of personnel performing NDTTech functions.* Accurately document inspection findings.* Check required dimensions using calipers, micrometers and other inspection devices.* Responsible for ensuring proper documentation is entered on manufacturing planning(including correct quantities) and paperless timecard system.* Interpret and follow written instructions, sketches, schedules, drawings and documents.* Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.* Programs all Digital X-Ray systems.* Conduct audits of NDT procedures, and process and interface with customers to providethe necessary objective evidence to substantiate approval to requirements.* May oversee others.Education and Experience:* High School Diploma / GED* Certified in FPI, Radiographic and Digital X-Ray Inspection.Skills and Knowledge:* Able to read and understand manufacturing planning, engineering blueprints andsketches.* Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).* Knows where to find this information at Exotic, and asks for help when necessary.* Knowledge of shop math and precision measurement equipment.* Capable of inspecting complex or custom parts in all NDT work centers.* Knowledge of Exotic manufacturing and NDT processes to be able to anticipate problems in order to implement effective and productive inspection techniques.* Ability to effectively interface and provide feedback to Quality Engineering, Design Engineering, and Manufacturing personnel.* General knowledge of welding and forming processes.* Demonstrate proper and safe operation of equipment, and personal protective equipment* Lift up to 50 poundsIf you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
