　　BWXT is seeking a Quality Inspection Supervisor to join our growing team in Mt. Vernon, IN!

　　Job Responsibilities:

　　Supports production manufacturing processes through supervision and daily oversight of a team of inspectors.

　　Observes shop floor activities to ensure compliance to internal quality procedures and customer standards.

　　Completes and ensures accurate time entry records for assigned employees; effectively communicates employee performance expectations and addresses conduct and performance concerns appropriately and promptly.

　　Initiates and coordinates personnel training/qualification activities and maintains appropriate documentation.

　　Assists in the development and implementation of inspection plans.

　　Participates in CAPA (corrective action) resolution for component processes.

　　Works closely with Engineering and other departments to provide technical support for problem solving and assists in defining appropriate corrective actions.

　　Participates and supports design teams through the development of product inspection plans.

　　Provides analysis of quality data to identify trends and implement product improvement actions.

　　Maintains required quality assurance records and ensures records are complete and accurate.

　　Job Qualifications/Requirements

　　High School diploma or equivalent along with a minimum of five years of work experience in a quality driven manufacturing/fabrication/production environment.

　　Prior/current qualification as an inspector is preferred, with demonstrated work experience executing inspection plans.

　　Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively; contribute to technical teams; and establish effective working relationships with others is required.

　　Prior experience managing an inspection team in a machining, welding, or other heavy manufacturing environment is preferred.

　　U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship is required.
