Find Your Beyond.SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The Quality Engineer will work closely with Tether's engineering, assembly, and testing teams to monitor and implement aerospace Quality Management best practices, including maintaining AS9100 certification standards.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

　　Gather data and build metrics for manufactured products.Act as Quality Rep in MRB (Material Review Board).Participate on "red teams" for urgent resolutions.Participate in Safety meetings.Manage Problem Failure Reports and metrics.Facilitate Production Readiness Meetings for new products.Report metrics at Quality and Ops meetings.Perform Audits to ensure QMS (Quality Management System) is being followed.Log, Work and Manage Continuous Improvement Projects.Serve as a Quality Rep on the Change Review Board.Update supplier approval status and communicate vendor defectsServe as quality customer return focal for failure analysis and corrective actionPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

　　Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering, Quality, or Computer Science related field5 years of relevant work experienceExperience in a manufacturing quality certification program such as ISO 9001/AS9100Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)Statistical analysis experience or related college coursesProficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and other software.Certified lead auditorWashington state pay range: $90,000 to $130,000Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.Working at Tethers Unlimited, an ARKA Group CompanyTethers Unlimited, an ARKA Group Company is located in beautiful Bothell, WA.
