POSITION OVERVIEW
Assists with the planning, coordination, and direction of quality program designed to ensure quality control and quality assurance of the production of products consistent with ISO 9001 or equivalent Standard required for respective Plant and established Regal Rexnord standards by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
JOB DESCRIPTION (Key Responsibilities):
Demonstrate superior leadership and quantifiable innovation in areas of critical thinking and problem solving to enhance customer satisfaction and address customer dissatisfaction.
Supports the quality objectives in compliance with ISO 9001 or equivalent Standard required for respective Plant and corporate policies and goals.
Acts as an ISO Representative for the respective Plant.
Communicates and demonstrates quality philosophy to all personnel within the organization.
Leads the development and initiation of quality standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation of products.
Leads and maintains the internal audit process to measure compliance with established procedures.
Plans and oversees the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of products or components.
Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.
Applies statistical methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.
Reviews all data obtained during all quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures.
Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality activities.
Works with respective plant Quality department and other plant Quality departments in significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and actions that are being taken to improve the situation.
Assists with preparation and presentation of technical and program information related to Quality to the management team.
Supervises employees engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials and products.
Maintains a working knowledge of ISO (or equivalent Standard required for respective Plant) and industry quality codes and standards.
Designs and implements quality training programs for personnel within the organization.
Leads the investigation, addressing, and resolution of customer complaints regarding quality.
Supports the RBS programs for the respective Plant and IPS Division as needed.
Works with Suppliers on quality related topics and aids in the development of new Suppliers.
Writes, maintains, and distributes procedures related to the Quality System.
Follow Safety Programs.
Follow State and Federal Environmental Compliance Programs.
Adhere to Export, Import and Supply Chain Security Policy requirements relevant to the position.
Adhere to ISO 9000 Standards.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILL REQUIRED
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or Experience a Minimum of 5 years' experience.
Travel Required: Less than 25%

Proficient with Internet
Above average verbal and written communication skills with the ability to read, analyze and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations with the ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information ad respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers , suppliers and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations, and proportions to practical situations.
Above average reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
Ability to get along with others.
Can effectively function in a matrix and team environment.
