Job Description:
* Must have an active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph*
• Position will include inspecting, testing / troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining fire protection (sprinkler) systems
• May working with installing/repairing sprinkler heads, victaulic couplings, cutting, fitting, threading pipe, seismic bracing and other Fire Protection System components as is normally found in water based and dry systems
• Work will require reading blueprints, preparing material take-offs and following Engineering design and Code criteria
• Position may interface with other trades personnel and on site fire personnel to ensure functionality of systems
• Establishes and maintains a safety culture on the project, ensuring that all personnel adhere to company safety requirements at all times
• Monitors construction activities to ensure work efficiency and that quality and workmanship meet program standards and specifications
• Ensures that knowledgeable of specifications and work procedures that this material is being utilized to ensure optimum efficiency, and that work is being performed in conformance with specified quality requirements
• Communicates issues and requirements with site management and other functional leaders as appropriate
• Other duties as assigned.
Salary Rate: $35.00 to $45.00/hour + $4.60/hour Fringe
Positions covered by the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act or Davis-Bacon Act will comply with the statute requirements.
