Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Quality Control Lead/Agile Process Coach to join our team in Ft. Detrick.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for establishing and maintaining a process for evaluating software and associated documentation.
Maintains the level of quality throughout the software life cycle and conducts formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development life cycle.
Develops and maintains the Quality Control Plan
Works with Government to develop the Program's Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP)
Implements procedures that conform to the requirements of the contract
Provides an independent assessment of how the project's software development process is being implemented relative to the defined process and recommends methods to optimize the organization's process
Responsible for all activities involving quality control/quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
Conducts audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation
Develops and implements procedures and plans for assuring quality in a system development environment which supports large databases and applications
Leads process and product assessments using objective standards
Identifies, documents and communicates to the Program Manager all non-compliance, observations, and risks from all quality assurance and quality control related activities
Communicates results from assessments to crucial stakeholders
Manages lessons learned that could improve processes for future projects
Leads Root Cause Analysis exercises as needed
Prepares and manages metrics
Establishes new Agile teams and provides interactive initial and ongoing coaching to stakeholder and teams
Coaches teams & leaders on the mindset change required to transform their existing development practices to follow agile methodologies.
Assesses the Agile Maturity of the teams and coaches to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable.
Conducts ongoing evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of Agile programs and recommends complex and/or highly comprehensive training modifications as necessary.
Works with teams to become effective and efficient in their use of Agile practices
Helps teams to adopt and improve agile methods and practices.
On-boards new teams adopting agile practices such as Scrum, SAFe, etc.
Cultivates the capabilities of each team member in their specific roles and enable them to deliver customer value rapidly
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
SAFe Experience as an Agile Coach
SAFe SPC certification
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Quality Control and large scale Agile team coaching
Software quality assurance and control experience working in a similar capacity and in an environment with tasks of similar scope, complexity and technical difficulty.
Experience working with Agile Software Development teams in an Agile environment, preferably in a Medical logistics environment
Experience with Scrum and Kanban
Current experience with common Agile tools, such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer to have knowledge and experience with the Defense Health Agency's (DHA) QA/QC processes and proceduresClearance Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
