Quality Assurance Technician - Canton, Ohio - JOB 24-00053Hourly Rate: $20.00- $24.00/HR Permanent Position with BenefitsA well-established hand tool manufacturer located in Canton has an immediate need for a Quality Assurance Technician.Requirements:• High School Diploma or GED• Must have 1+ year experience as a Quality Technician• Experience with inspection tools (calipers, height gages, CMM and surface plate inspection techniques)• Must be able to read blueprints.• Must be familiar with CAD to enter parameters in inspection software.• Ability to work independently as well as work in a team environment.• 1 st shift 7am-3:30 pm Monday-FridayKey Responsibilities :• Conducts daily inspections and testing activities using a variety of inspection tools and techniques; supports production team as needed.• Inspects materials received, finished products, and work-in-process of fabricated metal products to ensure conformance with drawing specifications.• Performs First Article Inspections and prepares First Article Reports.• Calibrates inspection equipment and maintains records in Gagepack database.• Performs 100% inspection and adjustments on some lots, as required by customer• Maintains inspection records according to company & customer standards.Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.Due to the large amount of resumes we expect to receive only the most qualified candidates will be contacted.
