　　Job Description:

　　About the Role:

　　The QA Supervisor role at the Chicago location supports operations projects, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

　　Enforcing all company policies and plant rules, to include but not limited to problem solving, development & implementation of standard operating procedures while maintaining working relationship with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.

　　Supervising and supporting Document Control, Internal Auditing, and Food Safety Audits as well as external customer and third-party audits of the facility.

　　Resolving personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action which includes administering discipline, corrective action and coaching as needed.

　　Supporting QA department through development of daily schedules, allocating labor, and adjusting as needed based on resources.

　　Ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies or other quality-related certifications such as HACCP, GMPs, SQF, and other relevant audits.

　　Important Details: This is a full-time on-site role supporting 1st shift plant quality needs.

　　About You:

　　You’ll fit right in if you have:

　　Demonstrated experience in a food quality environment

　　Experience as an SQF Practitioner

　　Experience as a strong advocate of compliance and supporting the building and motivating of successful FS&Q efforts

　　Strong communication skills at all levels of management

　　Previous supervisory experience, especially in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing is a plus;

　　Bachelor's Degree in quality assurance or a related field preferred.
