Neuron Quality & Automation (NQA) is a quality assurance and automation development team within Neuron providing the release infrastructure, test automation framework, and tooling used by all SDEs on Neuron SDK working with these custom ML ASICs from Annapurna Labs.

Key job responsibilities
• Ensure correct product is delivered to customers, from designing test planning/test strategy, executing test plan, bug triage, coordinating with partners/communicating with stakeholders, and provide feature sign-off.
• Drive improvements in test tools, test environments, and reporting mechanisms; influence the implementation of the right solutions.
• Contribute to building highly visible, robust testing & automation tools and tackle hard to solve problems.

Basic Qualifications
• Applied to the Howard/AWS Practicum and will be enrolled during the time of the co-op
• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related degree from Howard University with graduation conferral date after December 2024
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of QA methodology and automation tools
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as C++, C, Python, Verilog, System Verilog, Perl
• Experience in technical areas such as Linux/Unix, Networking, Security or Software Development

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $32.36/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $88.03/hr in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
