About Quality Assurance Coordinator

  Ensure complete understanding and compliance to all existing Quality Systems. Provide training and update/ maintain the training system, help coordinate any new systems and procedures, establish current work priorities and schedule personnel.

  Major Responsibilities:

  • Update/Review/Create new SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) per the supervisor’s direction.

  • Ensure appropriate procedures are followed and records are well maintained within given deadline.

  • Maintain/ update all training records in a timely manner and enter them in the training database.

  • Communicate with various departments on auditing issues to achieve customer satisfaction and deadline.

  • Audit inbound and/or outbound shipments against various documents to ensure accuracy.

  • Accumulate data, prepare and communicate audit results on a monthly basis.

  • Ensure QMS (Quality Management System) processes are established, implemented and maintained in accordance with standards within given deadline.

  • Reporting to Executive Leaders on the performance of the ISO Procedures and audits to recommend continuous improvement.

  • Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.

  • Participate in ISO-9001and Internal Control audit programs.

  • Comply with Internal Control, Continuous Improvement, Quality systems and Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor

  Qualifications:

  • 2 years of general office experience required

  • 1 year of customer service experience required

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Associate's degree preferred

  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required

  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred

  • Ability to work in non-temperature environments

  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

  • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.

  -Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
