Job Responsibilities:* Defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for a service or manufactured material, component or product* Auditing, monitoring and determining the quality of processes or outputs, either against defined internal and/or regulatory standards* Product integrity testing, coloring, fitting and pattern and wet processing to ensure orders are in compliance with corporate/customers' quality requirements* Reporting on process deviations and defects* Preparation & support of plant audit program (internal/external audits)* Performing internal audits according to plan and support 2nd/3rd party audits in the plant* Tracking of the closing progress of audit deviations in the plant based on an action plan and (if necessary) escalation of delays to planned closure* Supporting the Plant Quality Manager to ensure positive audit and certification status/activities with respect to IATF/Customer/VDA* Alignment of plant activities with representatives of the GPO organization for new process roll outs or change management* Controlling and archiving of quality related documentation, incl. Information management in WIMS and other relevant Systems* Preparation of customer audits and tracking of customer notifications in relevant systems* Preparation, execution, and documentation of relevant training in cooperation with Plant HR (incl. process change management, auditor certification status etc.)
Education and Experience:* Experience in quality management and/or manufacturing, ideally automotive* Knowledge of IATF and VDA 6.3. audit requirements and practice and relevant certifications as auditor (preferred)* Knowledge of quality methods & tools, e.g. FMEA, SPC, PPAP, APQA, 8D* Knowledge of local document control system (WIMS) and other relevant Quality processes and software applications* Knowledge of the meaning of special characteristics, relevant standards, customer specific requirements and specifications* First knowledge of product liability law and data protection* Working knowledge of MS-Office applications, SAP-QM skills and other relevant processes and documents* Basic understanding of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles (e.g. WPS)
