The Role: QA Test Engineer

　　As a QA Test Engineer at Billhighway, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our automation frameworks.  Using your hands-on experience, you will be responsible for improving the overall quality, efficiency, stability, and reliability of our platforms.  Further, you will participate in educating the overall QA team in the benefits and best use of test automation.  

　　Eligible hybrid and remote candidates must reside in one of the following states: DC, FL, ID, IN, MD, MI, MN, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV, IL and NH

　　What you will do:  

　　Develop, implement, and maintain our automation frameworks to ensure scalability and efficiency.  

　　Identify opportunities for automation, implement best practices in test process, and ensure high test coverage in our testing cases.  

　　Ensure automated tests elevate the overall quality, stability, and reliability of our software platforms.  

　　Log and track defects, capturing clear steps to reproduce and collaborating with developers to facilitate resolution.  

　　Represent the Product Development team by skilled interactions with internal and external clients to inspire confidence, ensure transparency and manage overall expectations.  

　　Handling periodic on-call duty and out-of-band requests  

　　What you will need:  

　　BS/BA Computer Science or related field, and/or relevant work experience.  

　　Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.  

　　2 years of hands-on experience in QA, including manual testing, test case development and automating manual testing procedures.  

　　2 years of hands-on experience with SQL.  

　　1 year of experience working with QA automation, Page Object Model and Selenium.  

　　Ability to multi-task by applying strong time-management skills.  

　　Ability to effectively communicate across organizational boundaries and work in a highly collaborative style with team members, stakeholders, and customers.  

　　What will set you apart:   

　　Experience using Cypress or Playwright for automation.  

　　Experience in effective use of issue tracking systems, such as Jira.  

　　Familiarity with accounting and financial transaction concepts
