Description:
Performs laboratory tasks under the direction of a FTE such as dropping, crushing, planting, harvesting, counting, grinding, reagent preparation, and other routine laboratory tasks.
Under the guidance of another employee, conduct routine and preventative maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Will be required to assist in the operation of equipment for data generation. Assists with receipt and inspection of raw materials, ordering, and stocking.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform tasks within the laboratory. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Top Skills Skills & Qualifications:
Experience as a lab technician working in chemistry, biology, or biochemistry
Experience in fast-paced and/or team-based environments (like restaurant wait staff)
Requires an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent; preferably within a Scientific Discipline
