From your PASSION to ours
The Intern will be required to work full-time, 20-40 hours per week for 1-year duration. The intern will work within the Corporate Purchasing Department under the guidance and supervision of the Purchasing Director to provide assistance with monthly departmental reports as well as performing a variety of administrative functions and tasks in assisting the Corporate Purchasing Department. This is a paid internship.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
· Assist in managing all Purchasing Price Variance (PPV) reports that the Purchasing Dept. needs to implement within Lactalis American Group for monthly leadership meetings.
· Collect and analyze data reported by plant locations; upload data in appropriate format, then after approval from buyers, communicate final data to French division.
· Regularly update Pricing Grids based on analysis and verification of market adjustments.
· Support budgeting process by working with plants and corporate purchasing teams.
· Assist in preparing presentations inclusive of; commodity tracking, PPV, project updates, and more.
· Upload necessary data in all info cards for each item with new Master Control software (pending to be purchased).
· Assist in updating all purchasing procedures + Quality trackers.
· Assist in contract summaries for executive sign-off.

Education
· The candidate should be a recent or upcoming college graduate with a degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics or another relevant field.
Specialized Knowledge
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT)
· French speaking is a plus
Salary Description
$17.50 - $21.50
