　　Role Purpose 

　　As a Purchasing Associate you will be responsible for the full cycle of purchasing, receiving, and shipping goods to support various engineering and operations projects and initiatives. The desired candidate will work alongside our larger corporate purchasing, finance, and legal teams to ensure all purchase requisitions are approved, processed, and the goods are received in a timely manner. This position will also be responsible for coordinating and processing shipping requests from multiple project owners. This individual must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as this role interacts with many stakeholders of the business including internal departments, vendors, and customers. This position requires the highest ethical standards, strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work with a team. 

　　Primary Responsibilities 

　　Work with project owners to procure quotations for equipment or services -understand what is required and the timelines for each order 

　　Establish relationships with various vendors, manage vendor data  

　　Follow a full lifecycle of a requisition, data entry, SOW approval, PO creation, proper accounting process with approvals, tracking of order status, shipping & receiving goods or services, properly receiving items and tracking receipt with internal systems 

　　Working with the logistics team to track order status, to ship out returns, and pick items from various locations 

　　Work alongside of the finance team to align orders with various budget categories 

　　Basic Qualifications 

　　Customer Service: 1 (year preferred) 

　　Previous experience with purchasing and receiving 

　　Bachelor’s (Preferred)
