Description Robert Half is currently working with a client looking for a Purchasing Agent. The Purchasing Agent will be responsible to work and negotiate with suppliers to purchase goods and services for the company. As the Purchasing Agent you will be processing purchase orders, in addition to locating suppliers and researching goods, services and materials. If you are a highly analytical and deadline oriented professional, this is the Purchasing Agent position for you!

　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Look into supplier profiles and examine offers

　　Monitor inventory levels and determine purchase needs

　　Maintain records of all transactions, purchase orders, receipts, and payments

　　Prepare and present detailed reports (revenues, buying expenditures, etc.)

　　Request cost proposals and negotiate contracts and prices

　　Prepare and process purchase orders

　　Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts

　　Research suppliers, goods, and services, and compare options Requirements - 1+ year working in a professional setting

　　Must have professional customer service skills while working with vendors and suppliers

　　High school diploma or equivalent requiredAccurate, swift, data entry abilities
