Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Purchasing Agent in LIMA, New York. This role is critical in our team as it involves managing and executing various purchasing duties within our industry.

Responsibilities:

• Employ ERP Solutions and Accounting Software Systems like Epicor and Great Plains (GPAC) to streamline buying processes.

• Execute accounting functions, with a particular focus on managing Accounts Payable (AP).

• Participate in the development and implementation of budget processes.

• Coordinate with different departments to ensure timely and efficient purchasing activities.

• Utilize 'About Time' software to ensure timely completion of purchasing tasks.

• Maintain accurate records of all purchases and vendor interactions.

• Proactively resolve any purchasing related issues or discrepancies.

• Stay updated with the latest ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning trends and best practices.

• Collaborate with team members to achieve overall organizational goals.

• Continually evaluate vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes. Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.

• Ability to use About Time is needed.

• Must be skilled in performing Accounting Functions.

• Must have experience with Accounts Payable (AP).
