POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for providing purchasing support to all departments of Akoustis across the company by acquiring products necessary to support operations. This position could be located either at our Corporate Headquarters in Huntersville, NC or our NY Fab in Canandaigua, NY. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Negotiate with vendors, obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.Conduct initial purchase requisition review in ERP System.Convert fully approved Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Orders in ERP system. Send orders to vendors.Follow up on Purchase Orders with vendors and update ERP system or follow up with requisitioners as needed.Focal point for establishing new vendors in the ERP system.Focal point for establishing new Capital Expenditures (CAPX). Maintain log of CAPX to ensure spending does not exceed approved amounts without proper approvals.Other reasonable duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES3 - 5 years business-related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Associate degree (A.A.) preferred in Business or Accounting field from an accredited College or University.Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to work independently, manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines. Working knowledge of ERP software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred), and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).Familiarity with ISO 9001.
