　　Location: 2600 S. Sunset Ave., Littlefield, Texas 79339

　　Work schedule: Monday Friday, 8-hour days

　　Job responsibilities: You will provide instruction to clients in accordance with approved curricula. Provide clients with basic direction in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and Texas Civil Commitment Office (TCCO) directives.

　　Essential functions:

　　Plan and conduct classes for clients in life skills, cultural awareness, health education and special curriculum and other selected subjects.

　　Prepare special teaching plans, courses, activities and learning experiences appropriate for the specific clients assigned.

　　Utilize appropriate audio, visual and computer teaching materials individualized to the specific need of the client.

　　Deliver individualized competency-based instruction through classroom and in the occupational program areas taught to clients.

　　Develop performance objectives and criterion-referenced tests in accordance with established program content.

　　Education and Experience Requirements:

　　Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED.

　　One (1) year of teaching, corrections or related experience, excellent interpersonal communication skills and computer proficiency required.

　　Valid drivers license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
