Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Education - University industry, based in SALISBURY, North Carolina. The role of Purchaser will involve managing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, engaging in buying processes, and overseeing accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize ERP systems effectively for efficient business operations

• Oversee the buying processes to ensure smooth procurement procedures

• Undertake contract management to ensure compliance with set terms and agreements

• Handle accounts payable (AP) to ensure timely and accurate payments

• Manage purchase orders to ensure they are processed and delivered on time

• Employ effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and resolve any procurement-related issues

• Monitor and update accounting functions as required

• Ensure efficient use of ERP Solutions for maximum business benefits. Requirements • Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

• Strong understanding of ERP Solutions for streamlining purchasing processes

• Familiarity with standard accounting functions, specifically in a university setting

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures

• Comprehensive knowledge of buying processes in an education or similar sector

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to efficiently manage purchase orders from initiation to completion

• Proven experience in contract management, including negotiation and execution

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
