　　Flowserve is seeking a motivated engineer to support our aftermarket business in Australia – New Zealand. As an Aftermarket Application Engineer, the chosen candidate will be responsible for supporting our end-user sales team with technical and commercial proposals for a variety of products. Our customers include but are not limited to Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Water Resources companies—both private and government owned. This role involves all customer facing activities related to the order acquisition process including proposal development, specification and scope review, pricing analysis, and coordination with both internal and external stakeholders. In addition, our team is dedicated to improving the organization’s capabilities. Application Engineers are in a unique position to achieve this by championing CIP initiatives, conducting training, and developing new approaches to secure business. Some overnight travel may be required. You will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site and reports to the Commercial Operations Manager based in Australia.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Evaluation of requests, generation of solution proposals

　　Cost calculation, if necessary in cooperation with the relevant departments

　　Technical and commercial preparation of offers

　　Order acceptance, review, and preparation (Complete Order)

　　And any other duties as assigned

　　Requirements:

　　Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as, inside Sales Representative, Engineer.  

　　SAP knowledge Experience in dealing with common MS Office applications.

　　BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 3-5 years relevant experience.

　　Preferred Experience / Skills:

　　Good communication skills.

　　Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking.
