About Public Works Laborer

　　The Village of Port Leyden is accepting applications Department of Public Works Laborer. Daily activities include but not limited to assisting the DPW Superintendent with maintenance and construction of streets, snow/sanding/sweeping of streets, building maintenance, water/wastewater treatment operations, and ability to operates a variety of equipment. Applicant must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid NYS Drivers License at time of appointment and the license must be maintained throughout the duration of your employment. The Village of Port Leyden provides a benefit package to full time employees that includes: holiday pay, vacation time, sick time, and NYS Retirement.
