  We are currently seeking a Public Sector Marketing Business Partner to join our team in McLean, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

  The Public Sector Marketing Business Partner leads the Public Sector marketing function and directs activities designed to increase growth and expand market share across government and education. This role oversees the strategic planning, development and coordination of all Public Sector marketing activities to generate demand. This individual collaborates closely with business and sales executive leadership, as well as the marketing organization. The candidate for this role should have an in-depth understanding of government marketing, contracting, state, local and federal government. Experience with the education market a plus. Core responsibilities would include the development of targeted messages that drive differentiation or unique points of view and clearly articulate our value propositions. Working with subject matter experts, this person will be required to translate business strategies and service offerings into key marketing messages and communications. Evaluating and adjusting marketing, branding and communication strategies to respond to changing markets trends. This person will also drive sales and client executive engagement with marketing programs, lead follow-up, and client engagement/advocacy opportunities. The Business Partner collaborates closely with all of Marketing & Communications, including Consulting & Industry Solutions, Strategic Campaigns, Partner and Portfolio Marketing, and shares insights and feedback from the business unit to the full Marketing & Communications team.

  Responsibilities might include

  Advise and consult with business unit president and sales leaders to create an overall marketing strategy designed to achieve growth targets. Develop and lead innovative awareness and demand generation programs that align to the business priorities. Effectively and efficiently manage marketing programs and events to meet or exceed targeted outcomes. Monitor lead generation and follow-up to maximize business opportunities and demonstrate ROI for marketing investments. Research industry topics and trends, optimize content for organic search, revise and edit pieces, and collaborate with other writers and marketers to ensure brand consistency. Collaborate closely with Analyst Relations, Public Relations and Customer Advocacy leaders to enhance and promote market leadership, highlight business leaders as experts in their field, document client success stories and deepen client relationships. Proactively communicate and collaborate with business stakeholders and Marketing & Communications team members to maximize information-sharing and drive positive results. Identify new marketing opportunities through industry research and news monitoring, and participation in industry and/or marketing organizations and events. Manage and adhere to marketing budget, maintain vendor and agency relationships, and oversee related contracts and payments.

  Skills Required:

  Minimum of 10-12 years of relevant marketing experience with demonstrated ability to independently drive marketing programs. Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or public relations. Solid financial, business acumen and analytical skills.

  Preferred skills and experience

  Knowledge of marketing-related business practices, including advertising, market research and digital marketing technology and tools Ability to write, develop, edit, and publish content and copy for various digital platforms, including websites, blogs, videos, email marketing campaigns, advertising campaigns, social media posts, infographics, and brochures Demonstrated history of planning successful campaigns and events Effective communication skills and adaptable communication style for interacting with business leaders, team members and clients Strong project management and organization skills to plan and execute marketing initiatives and juggle competing priorities Understanding of Public Sector, including State, Local and Federal government, including broader issues and client pain points
