As a Proposal Writer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience writing content to support Telligen's proposal efforts. This content will include updating, refining, and creating Telligen documents such as:

Market-specific gold standards

Contract narratives
*
Basic writeups
*
Bios and resumes
*
Procedures
Our intern's preferred location is our West Des Moines, Iowa office. The internship will begin in May once semester is finished and go until August when classes resume again.
In this role you will:
Work within the bids and proposals (BandP) team to review priority content needs.Interview operational subject-matter experts as needed to flesh out pertinent details for assigned content.Usher the documents through necessary reviews and update them at each review stage.Update existing content to reflect changes over the past year.Present weekly progress reports to the BandP manager and senior proposal writer.Escalate roadblocks to applicable leadership.Experience/Education you'll need:
Currently enrolled in a college or university seeking a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field; must have completed a minimum of two years of coursework.Strong writing and editing skills, and familiarity with AP StyleSolid interviewing and organizational skills.Ability to juggle multiple priorities; superior attention to detail.Experience with video communication platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.Experience using Microsoft Office or 365.Must be available to work 20-40 hours per week over the summer.MUST be willing to include two writing samples upon request.
