Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.
The Proposal Coordinator will provide assistance in preparation of proposals in response to government solicitations. Will also be responsible for analyzing proposal requirements and ensure 100% responsiveness and completion of tasks in accordance with established timelines, milestones, and deadlines.
This is a part-time, 100% telework position with the potential to become a full-time employment. Hours are flexible.
Key responsibilities:
Outlining proposal requirements for assigned opportunities;
Developing schedules to comply with due dates;
Identifying and coordinating staff resources to draft proposal documents;
Assisting in the writing of proposal sections;
Editing and reviewing draft documents for conformance to proposal requirements; and
Managing the production of hard copy and electronic proposal documents.
Facilitate proposal meetings, update and approval meetings and chasing of identified actions, as required
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications to be successful in the role:
Bachelor’s degree
Preferrably with food and beverage background / industry
Entry-level candidates who can demonstrate outstanding organization, writing, editing, and software skills;
Extreme attention to detail and deadline driven;
Experienced in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Adobe Acrobat Pro;
Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, self-driven environment;
Familiarity with Government forms such as the SF 254/255 and SF 330 and a technical background are a plus; and
Experience developing RFP, RFQ, RFI, SOQ, EOI responses for government contracts is a plus
Ability to work under pressure and own initiative.
