  Job Summary

  Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada is seeking a dedicated and skilled Property Manager to oversee the maintenance and management of our property assets, including the GSSNV Council headquarters, two camps, two Girl Scout Houses, a small fleet of vehicles, and various smaller maintenance equipment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in property management, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for our Girl Scout community.

  Job Responsibility Summary

  Property Maintenance:

  • Conduct regular inspections of all GSSNV properties to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.

  • Coordinate and perform routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and renovations as needed.

  • Oversee landscaping and grounds maintenance activities.

  Facility Management:

  • Manage day-to-day operations and security of the Council headquarters, camps, and Girl Scout Houses.

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for major repairs and renovations.

  • Ensure facilities are ready for scheduled events and programs.

  Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance:

  • Maintain and manage a fleet of three vehicles, ensuring they are in proper working condition.

  • Oversee maintenance and repair of various smaller equipment used for property upkeep.

  Budgeting and Reporting:

  • Manage the property management budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

  • Provide regular reports on property conditions, maintenance activities, and budget status.

  Job Qualifications

  • • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Property Management, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of three (3) years' proven work experience in property management, with a focus on property/facility maintenance.

  • Knowledge of safety and maintenance protocols for properties, vehicles, and equipment.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient computer operation skills and in use technology.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Ability to drive, possess a valid Nevada drivers license, and must have personal transportation and auto insurance.

  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Work Monday to Friday with the ability to work a flexible schedule including early evenings and some weekends.

  • Familiarity with the Girl Scouts organization is a plus.

  • Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications upon hire.

  • Maintain Girl Scouts membership upon hire.
