About Property & Casualty Workers Comp Audit Specialist

  Overview

  Under a moderate level of guidance and direction, provides customer service for Paychex Property & Casualty Insurance clients. Uses prescribed guidelines to ensure good customer relations are maintained and customer claims and complaints are resolved fairly, effectively and in accordance with Paychex policies and procedures. Builds knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers.

  Responsibilities

  Delivers quality service to Paychex clients via phone, email, chat, and other avenues

  Researches and resolves the issues relative to the Property & Casualty Insurance suite of insurance products from any internal/external clients.

  Ability to diffuse client concerns and notify management of critical situations to ensure the best solution is implemented for the client and Paychex.

  Follows up on outstanding items to issue completion in compliance with established Service Level AgreementsMaintains an accurate recording of all internal and external communication.

  Trains and mentor’s new individuals with less experience and assist team members with complex situations.

  Maintains and manages positive and professional relationships with Paychex Insurance Agency policy holders, Property and Casualty insurance carriers, and internal/external clients to ensure client satisfaction.

  Utilizes multiple software applications in conjunction with carrier and bureau websites in order to respond to all client inquiries. Internal applications include human resource information system, insurance carrier websites and Online Reporting System.

  Continues to stay abreast of all changes pertaining to various product offerings, regulatory changes, policy changes, and insurance industry developments in support of client satisfaction.

  Identifies opportunities for process improvement and works with leaders to implement.

  Demonstrates ability to perform to KPI’s and/or metrics.

  Participates in assigned projects or required training.Other duties as assigned.

  Qualifications

  College Degree preferred, or insurance related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.

  Strong analytical, critical thinking, prioritization, and organizational skills.

  The ability to be agile, to multi-task, and to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Compensation

  In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $17.85- $28.04/hr Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
