To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building the sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the Lunar Surface.As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers, you will help lead solutions for various spaceflight systems as a Mission Engineering and Integration Propellant Transfer Integration Lead. The Propellant Transfer Integration Lead is responsible for all lunar propellant transfer design and operational requirements during the mission. You will validate requirements, decompose requirements, lead system-level analyses, and drive integrated testing. The Propellant Transfer Integration Lead is a Systems Thinker who proactively involves themselves in the design and development of systems that are active during the mission propellant transfer phase. To be successful, experience in fluid dynamics and cryogenic fuel transfer will be required.This opportunity reports to the Mission Systems Engineering and Integration Section inside the Sustaining Lunar Development Program Systems Engineering and Integration Group. Along with other growing, hardworking, and curious engineers, you'll be work on a Program shaping the future of Blue Origin. Apply anyway - we're looking for the right person to lead the team.Special Mentions:* Relocation provided (as required)* Travel expected up to 10 % of the timeResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Act as the Lunar Refueling systems point of contact and subject matter expert for the Lunar refueling phase.Decompose user requirements into functional, physical, system, etc. and define key performance parametersDefine and manage Functional analysis, System Safety, Hazard Mitigation, and System Budgets.Consult on the design and integration across all spacecraft subsystems to ensure full integration for the phaseConduct trade studies in concert with the impacted domain and program stakeholders, develop the mission's propellant transfer Concept of Operations, and lead validation activities during integration and testHave frequent inter-organizational and customer interactions as a technical point of contact on contracts and projects on technical matters, often requiring coordination between organizations.Mentor & train other personnelMinimum Qualifications:B.S. in Aerospace, Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Systems Engineering, or related technical subject areaIs a subject matter expert for principles associated with propellant transferAbility to integrate and coordinate a phase teamAbility to lead the mission planning/timeline and activity development, anomaly resolution, and change evaluation for the mission's propellant transfer phaseAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environmentUnderstanding of the principles, concepts, and methods of systems engineering, such as concept development, requirement definition, design solution definition, implementation, integration, verification and validation, qualification, commissioning, and operations
