The position of Projects Team Leader is within our Cardiometabolic Unit located in Oslo, Norway. This role will mainly manage projects ensuring tasks are performed and documented in accordance with current guidelines and deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies and procedures.
Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of applicable Quality Processes as per ISO, FDA, and other regulatory agencies.
Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.
Responsibility to understand and maintain awareness of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job.
Manage performance of staff towards department and company goals, including feedback on performance, appraisals, recommendations for merit increases or necessary disciplinary actions, communication to employees on performance, training etc
Project management and / or participation in projects for new products, new production equipment and production processes
In addition, the role is the responsible deputy for the Projects & Engineering Manager.
Lead or participate in improvement projects such as:
Optimization and efficiency of processes, methods and products
Development and testing of equipment for production
Validation of processes, methods and equipment
Plan and coordinate assigned project tasks
Contact with suppliers of equipment and materials
Train/guide employees in production in new processes and routines
Ensure that necessary equipment is procured within project budgets, in consultation with the manager
Ensure that necessary Control Regulations and any SOPs related to new products or processes are prepared and approved
Prepare protocols and reports
Lead and participate in the execution of validation work
Prepare SOPs for process development and validation
Handle nonconformities, changes and CAPA
Responsibility for specific tasks will be reflected in the employee’s training plan
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
AUTHORITY
Deputy Manager Projects & Engineering
Plan, manage and delegate activities within own group The work is largely guided by project plans. Detailed planning is carried out in accordance with the overall plans
Authority to plan and manage the activities within their own project tasks in order to carry out the required tasks
Approve protocols, results and reports in accordance with current procedures
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry / biochemistry / process technology / machine, and 5-8 years’ relevant experience, or
Master’s degree in chemistry / biochemistry / process technology / machine, and 3-5 years’ relevant experience
Experience with GMP
Experience in validating processes, equipment and methods
Experience from development projects
Knowledge / experience in writing protocols and reports etc.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 years’ experience from relevant project work in process optimization, process control, or development of new equipment
Competence in the use of IT tools, especially in Excel, Word and Notes
Competence in validation and GMP / GAMP requirements
Project management competence
Experience with Design Control
Knowledge of Abbott's products
