　　Responsibilities

　　Support all safety efforts on the project and promote the Gilbane Cares safety cultureEnsure contractor activities are preplanned for safety through scope review, preconstruction meetings, JHA review, STAs, etc.Ensure contractors meet Gilbane safety submittal requirementsMaintain all safety related documentationEnsure contractor compliance with Gilbane safety plan & expectationsMake recommendations concerning situations hazardous to employee safety or healthUtilize SafetyNet to Audit and monitor project team implementation of the Safety PlanPerform at least 15 SafetyNet inspections/month with at least 100 observations each inspection.Coach project teams in effective hazard identification and correction of issues using SafetyNetReview SafetyNet trending reports with project teamProvide safety training to project teams on Gilbane, client and OSHA requirementsInvestigate all accidents/near misses and complete all paperwork requiredMaintain all safety related documentationServe as project liaison and manage project correspondence with Insurance carriersEnsure project teams have safety equipment and resources

　　EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONBCSP credenti l3 years of construction safety management experienceOr equivalent combination of education and experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESProficient knowledge of construction safety principles, techniques and methodsPractical knowledge of OSHA laws, regulations and policiesCapable of identifying known potential exposures and recommending corrective actionProficient computer skills and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suiteProficient written and verbal communication skillsDeveloped management, leadership and interpersonal skillsGilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
