Project Manager - Product Treasury Management

As a Project Manager at Capital One, you will drive strategy and execute on high priority initiatives for the company. You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line. You will partner closely with the Senior Leadership team of the Commercial Product Treasury Management businesses, driving impact through high-profile initiative governance and risk management.

General Responsibilities :

Leading moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction on projects and to peers.

Designing, developing, and managing project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements

Ensure projects are being documented appropriately to mitigate risk and to be delivered on time

Leverage problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent

Partner cross-functionally with project teams to provide strategic thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery

Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments

Exhibit influencing skills to effectively drive project and program efforts

Demonstrate a proven track record of effective project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment.

Demonstrate excellent communication and partnership skills to deliver with key stakeholders at all levels

Provide change management support to both the Commercial Product Treasury Management organizations

Provide organizational development and effectiveness consultation with leadership on organizational design, processes, and strategic planning

Work with process and control owners to track issues and ensure we implement well-managed best practices across the organization

Perform initial analysis and evaluate data provided by team analysts

Design and implement internal governance processes

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

At least 4 years of Project or Product Management experience

At least 2 years of Risk Management experience

At least 2 years of experience in organizational development and business performance management

At least 1 year of change management experience or Prosci certification

Preferred Qualifications :

Masters or MBA degree

At least 5 years of Project Management experience

At least 3 years of experience in communications planning and development, including department communications, leadership team meetings, presentations, memos and reports

At least 2 years of Financial Services Risk Management experience

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Strong problem solving and influencing skills

PMP, Change Management, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
