Our client, a leader in the Aerospace industry is looking for a Project Manager (Procurement) to join their team in the Longueuil area on contract basis.

　　Description:

　　The Project Coordinator is working part of a strategic project execution team specifically responsible in assisting supplier transition projects. A supplier transition can take anywhere from 2-3 years and is a very complex, multi-step process.

　　The core responsibilities are:

　　Plan and execute supplier change projects (transition projects) throughout each step of the process

　　Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Inspection, Laboratory) to resolve a series of technical and commercial issues that are impacting the delivery timeline of the project.

　　Lead project reviews with suppliers and follow-up on the development and qualification of parts.

　　Track a series of KPI's to ensure the performance of suppliers are on track with standards.

　　The Project Coordinator is using SAP, Excel tools and PLM systems (For extracting technical drawings) daily.

　　The Project Coordinator is supporting generally 1-2 commodities (out of 8 total) and ensuring that suppliers are tracking Pratt & Whitney's timelines.

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Must Haves:

　　o 5-8+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Project Management or Procurement/Logistics

　　o Bilingual- French & English

　　o SAP experience & Excel (Intermediate- Vlookup and Pivot Tables)

　　o Academic requirement: Bachelor’s in Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Project Management.

　　Assets:

　　o Someone who has Supplier Management/Project Management abilities

　　o Someone who has experience in logistics/Project Management exp.

　　o PMP/PMI
