Overview
Kimley-Horn'sGreenwood Village, Colorado (CO) office is seeking a Civil Engineer with6+years of experience to join tourr Land Development team! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
Oversee planning, design, and implementation of land development projects including: residential, commercial, and industrial developments
Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project objectives, develop scope and budget, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet their needs
Conduct techncial analyses, prepare design plans, specifications, cost estimates, and over see construction administration activities
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance the firm's land development capabilities
Foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project approvals and maintain positive working relationships
Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects
Lead and manage multiple development projects simultaneously, ensuring all tasks and deliverables are completed on time and within budget
Establish project goals, objectives, and milestones, and track progress throughout the project lifecycle
Monitor project budgets and resources, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may impact project outcomes
Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
6+ years of experience in relevant engineering, including hands-on design, and project management
Professional Engineering (P.E.) License in the state of Colorado
Proven experience in project management, with a track record of succesful project delivery, with a focus on land development
Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in site civil design, permitting, and applicable software applications including hydrology modeling program, storm drainage programs
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Familiar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standards
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Ability to build plan sets and other construction documents
Ability to effectively guide staff in preparing plan sets and construction documents for land development projects
Salary Range:
$110,000 - $155,000
Eligible for Performance Based Bonuses
