  Position Description: Project Manager for Physician Consortium and IRO

  Under the direction of the Program Manager and the Director of Clinical Integrity & Innovation Division, (CI&I), the Project Manager has day-to-day oversight of Independent Review Organization (IRO) and Physician Consortium activities and contracts. The Project Manager is responsible for the management and coordination of ongoing projects. As a member of the management team, the Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of on-time and within budget quality services and is responsible for compliance with contract deliverables. As IRO contracts are supported by the Physician Consortium, the Project Manager will coordinate the activities of the Consortium which include but are not limited to development and maintaining positive relationships with members, assisting members with contract, corporate and IRO requirements such as attestations and credentialing activities. The Project Manager coordinates, communicates and supports recruitment activities thereby maintaining and increasing resources as contract and corporate requirements are identified. The Project Manager is responsible for operational efficiencies of the program and staff, and meeting production and quality goals.

   

  Responsibilities:

   

  Understand and represent PRI's mission, vision, and values to all internal and external customersInteract with government and private sector clients, partners, and* PRITM staff in a professional and accountable manner, and as a representative of PRITM* managementProactively manages and coordinates activities to ensure timeliness of deliverables to exceed contractual obligationsInteract with project team members in order to successfully fulfill contract obligations with the highest quality and in a timely manner meeting PRITM 's ISO requirementsInstills integrity throughout the organization via active participation in ISO requirements including but not limited to timely submission of Corrective Action Plans for all matters in which either PRITM standards and/or corporate contract standards have not been met. Communicates outcomes to team members to ensure a positive, open, environment which mitigates risk and achieves a culture of Continuous Quality ImprovementContributes to business development efforts for new sales and marketing to promote the business through professional communications, sound decisions and by exceeding all contract timeframes and deliverable requirementsSupports and maintains strategic and operational efficiencies within the IRO and Physician Consortium programsResponsible for meeting or exceeding production criteriaResponsible for making sure that product of the department meets or exceeds PRI's quality standardsProvides support to personnel who work within the IRO and Physician Consortium programsCollaborates with Marketing, Education & Outreach Division for support for training development and implementation of job aids and presentations including 508 compliance supportEngage clients in appropriate communication that manages client expectations and builds a collaborative relationship with the clientDevelops and maintains a detailed project schedule which includes administrative tasks involved in the projectProactively manages and coordinates activities to ensure timeliness of deliverables to exceed contractual obligationsDevelop workflows using MS VisioSupport development and maintenance of written Standard Operating Procedures for ProgramsProven ability to write and prepare technical program reports which may include status and progress reportsParticipation in and administration of team MeetingsCoordinate meeting logistics, including conference calls, WebEx meetings and Events or other platforms. Prepare and/or edit meeting minutes, presentations and tablesPrepare a d/or edit meeting minutes, presentations and tablesFile all project documents (hard and soft copies)Ensure coordination of all disciplines within teamDocument version control and quality assurance for formattingResponsible for tracking project changes and producing updated schedule as agreed with management & executive teamCompile summary documents, collect and include contributions of the teamTrack internal project team assignments and report status to project manager(s) and/or project director(s)The detailed schedule will include all project phases and dependenciesProvide assistance as needed to team members; technical assistance or other supportEnsure 508 CompliancePerform other duties as assigned

   

  Requirements:

  Degree in healthcare, sociology, communications, English, or equivalent experiencePrior experience in healthcare preferredTechnical Writing experience and/or formal educationalProficient in Office, Excel, Visio, Power Point, MS Project, etc.Demonstration of adherence to deadlinesReliable, honest, and trustworthy; Integrity is requiredAbility to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing in a succinct mannerStrong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsAbility to perform comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environmentExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailFlexibility to changing requirements and contingenciesWilling to take on additional tasks as required and learn new skillsWillingness and ability to undertake training needed in order to fulfill the changing requirements of the jobAbility to take directionAbility to be discrete and maintain high levels of confidentialityAbility to successfully execute many tasks simultaneously; and ability to work as a team member, as well as independentlyAbility to interface with all levels of management and staff personnelMust have no conflict of interest (COI) as defined in 1154(b)(1) of the Social Security Act (SSA)Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Security Clearance
