　　Job Overview

　　TE Connectivity's Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes.

　　The project manager engineer contributes to Business Cases and Feasibility Studies, converting them into practical project plans, and leading transfer and migration projects. Among the responsibilies he will be in charge of project management, addressing issues, reporting progress, and coordinating with various departments.Transversal people management, risk mitigation, and ensuring safety and customer requirements are also priorities.

　　Responsibilities :

　　Provide strong project leadership to the project team and share meetings to inform those concerned with the progress of specific sub-projects or milestones and ensure that the schedules are met.Follow up and control all the relevant changes during different project phases. Amend the project plans as required and circle back to all relevant stakeholders.Lead the initiative of process improvement opportunities and involve Continuous improvement departments where necessaryInterface with Purchasing, Demand Management, Quality, Human Resources, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Management, Finance and legal to analyze and resolve roadblocks encounteredRegularly report out Highlight Project Issues together with providing possible solutionsPeople management and developmentSupport and coordinate the relationship among the project team membersRisks MitigationEnsure compliance with the 'Safety First' philosophy and relevant policiesEnsure customer requirements are fulfilled during project planning and implementation. Highlight specific project or process requirements to the management team.

　　What your background should look like:

　　Higher Education in Engineering 1 to 2 year's Experience in project Management preferably in an automotive industryApplies knowledge of a specific discipline to resolve problems of moderate scope requiring analysis/evaluation of a variety of factors. Developing in professional expertise and concepts. Applies company policies and practices to resolve semi routine issues.Exercises discretion and independent judgment within defined policies and procedures and applies skills and knowledge of theories and principles to understand specific needs or requirements and determine appropriate course of action.
