How you will contribute:Apply your project management abilities by assisting with preliminarydesign and calculations for the bid estimates, preparing pricing formaterials, labor, freight, and fabrication, seeking out competitivevendors and services to assure that Ahern\'s fire protection projectsare competitively bid. You will also be responsible for preparing changeorders for customers, attending jobsite meetings, verifying installationprogress, maintaining labor projections, meeting with management on aregular basis to discuss project status and due dates, participating inturnover meetings as required, assisting with any follow-up informationwith the customer as is requested, assuming an active role in managingthe projects in conjunction with the designer and constructionsuperintendent. Some travel will be required as needed to adequatelymanage assigned projects. What you need to qualify: Ahern will make themost out of your three plus years of project management experience inthe construction industry or three plus years of fire sprinkler designexperience from a fire sprinkler contractor. Must have excellentcommunication, customer service and organizational skills; the abilityto work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. NICET certificationis preferred. What\'s in it for you?
