Description Serve as the first point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person. Provide timely and detail oriented responses to incoming queries, issues, and service requests, ensuring excellent customer service. Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, network connectivity, and other IT-related problems. Record detailed information of reported problems, troubleshooting steps taken, and their resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system. Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate IT staff or team for further investigation and resolution. Collaborate with team members to identify and implement solutions to common technical issues, documenting knowledge base articles for future reference. Assist in user account management, including creating, modifying, and disabling user accounts and access rights as per established procedures. Conduct software installations, upgrades, and patches on end-user devices, ensuring compatibility and compliance with company policies. Perform routine system maintenance tasks, such as system backups, data recovery, and software updates. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Relevant certifications or technical training are a plus. Proven experience in a customer support role, preferably in a helpdesk or technical support environment. Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business software applications. Familiarity with computer hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. Basic understanding of network protocols, IP addressing, and TCP/IP fundamentals. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
