The Project Lead performs a variety of tasks while leading and directing the work of others.
Responsibilities
Work on projects utilizing an Agile software development methodology, with a focus on customer lead, capability lead, and product owner activities.
Manage product backlog, and work with stakeholders to prioritize items.
Work with customers as a business analyst to capture requirements and user stories.
Manage sprint deliverables and timelines and coordinate team activities.
Provide status updates and project reviews to both internal and customer stakeholders.
Manage customer expectations.
Conduct user demonstrations.
Author or contribute to the project documentation, such as statement of works (SOW), proposal cost plans, project roadmaps, wireframe mockups, and test plans.
Assist with testing through the user interface as part of the Agile project team.
Serve as level 2 support for assigned capabilities.
Participate and provide input to team and group process improvements.
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
Determine, recommend, and implement improvements to applicable policies and processes.
Participate in company meetings, briefs, and audits as required.
Assist with the preparation of the company’s Progress, Status, and Management Reports following the Contract Data Requirements List.
Complete company and project-related training requirements as required.
Record labor hours daily in the company’s timekeeping system as required.
Travel up to 10% as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
7+ years of experience with Agile software tools, technical support, and project lead.
Interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance and maintain it throughout the lifecycle of the contract.
Critical thinking skills to be able to analyze user issues and be able to research and provide a solution promptly.
Must be familiar with a variety of Agile software development concepts, practices, and procedures.
Advanced working knowledge of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office suite and Outlook, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Possess the ability to coordinate and integrate the work activities of several different projects at any one time.
Possess the ability to communicate with others effectively both orally and in writing.
Maintain a high level of integrity and accountability.
Ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as requested.
Possess strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
