The Project Control Finance Manager ensures the Project Control functions (cost control, planning / scheduling and progress, risk management, management of change, gate reviews and reporting) are established in accordance with the contract and internal requirements for all phases of the project.
This Manager will work at the direction of the Project Controls Lead, and support project managers as necessary to execute and deliver the New Research Center Project. Primary responsibility is to track the overall financial status, measure cost elements and key indicators such as budgets, actuals, trends, reserves and estimates to complete, and to ultimately monitor the performance of the capital project as assigned
On a routine basis, will perform a variety of cost, schedule and process workflow reporting exercises and employ a variety of industry best practices, in accordance with company guidelines, in an effort to drive the successful completion of tasked objectives. This includes, but is not limited to, reporting on measured cost data and schedule progress against established metrics, scheduling meetings, establishing agendas, and recording minutes, maintaining reporting records and evaluating performance based on historical benchmarking.
This position will routinely interface with cross functional departments, internal project management teams and owner representative consultants. Should be prepared to prioritize their work based on critical elements, new and changing information, and work alongside the project team to achieve cost and schedule targets. Consistently interface with Clients Project Management Information System (PMIS) software, eBuilder, as well as Oracle/SAP financial tracking software to ensure alignment and accuracy of data.
This position will perform regular reporting inquiries to produce cost reports for team review and requires thorough analysis of common industry indicators such as budget reviews, cash flows, % complete progress tracking, earned value management, and monthly accruals. Regularly report progress updates each week and will function as a focal point of contact for project managers to provide project information in a typical reporting format, such as slide decks and dashboards. Will coordinate directly with Project Managers, as well as the rest of the project team, vendors, contractors, and suppliers, as required, to perform project updates.
In addition, will perform various administrative tasks as necessary to assist Project Managers with a variety of ad hoc duties as assigned. This position requires thorough collaboration and investigative skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously at times, to successfully execute and deliver on all project controls related phase deliverables that are required throughout the project lifecycle.

•Assist project teams with data entry of project cost information such as commitments, invoices, trends, reclasses, and all project documents into eBuilder.
•Interface with company financial systems as necessary to analyze costs, and review eBuilder regularly to ensure cost information is in alignment with SAP.
•Design and publish advanced visual dashboards that display cost and schedule reporting metrics, and maintain dashboards as required for multiple projects in the program portfolio.
•Provide regular communication on project cost, schedule and risk status to project team members and stakeholders.
•Collect & organize data SAP as well as eBuilder to generate monthly progress reports (CMR).
•Facilitate progress review for bi-weekly reporting and monthly accrual information meetings.
•Ensure the projects within the program are following cost and schedule reporting guidelines.
•Organize, reporting, and managing cost data for project benchmarking.
•Collect invoicing projections from PM teams and suppliers FP&A accrual reporting.
•Involved in monitoring and collaborating with the PM on the trend tracking system to ensure that project manager is fully aware of detailed change order status.
•Assist the project team with (IT) Sparc ticket requests to address any system issues.
•Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis functions as needed to address immediate concerns in a timely manner.
•Perform final project cost closeout activities and assist PMs with closing out open commitments and purchase orders to establish the final total cost of projects.
•Update schedules, project record documents, and forecasts in eBuilder.
•Coordinate with PMIS consultant team to perform workflow process, reporting and system maintenance improvements.
•Perform monthly detail review of qualitative data integrity for BI dashboard integration.
Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel – Intermediate; must be comfortable with producing spreadsheets, using accounting data formulas, pivot tables and charts. Familiarity with PowerBI dashboard reporting.
PREFERRED SAP S4/HANA EXPERIENCE
5-10 years of project cost, project engineering, and/or project scheduling experience. PMIS experience (e-Builder / Procore, etc.). Project controls, cost estimating, risk management and/or contract management a plus.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Proj Finance Control Mgr position is $113,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Proj Finance Control Mgr position is $140,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
