JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Project Engineer at HUSCO Automotive Holdings, LLCin Waukesha, Wisconsin will work within an engineering team to deliveron customer specifications for an entire engineering project. Workwithin the engineering team to deliver project oversight, customerservice, technical support, and design solutions for linear forcesolenoid solutions for hybrid transmission applications for variousvehicle manufacturers. Collaborate internally with multi-disciplinedteams to launch production of state-of-the-art solutions for HUSCO. Ownproject launch. Work closely with engineering team on committed customerapplications. Follow projects from prototype build and verificationtesting through production launch. Own supplier development, pilotbuild, production line development and launch, program launch andoverall ongoing program continuous improvement support, and planning,scheduling, and controlling projects to meet established objectives forquality, reliability and performance. Maintain design control ofassigned products, including understanding form, fit, and function ofproducts and components. Leverage understanding to optimize assignedproduct. Analyze impact of changes on existing products or operationsand assess compatibility with goals in all areas. Analyze costeffectiveness and feasibility. Maintain prints, specifications, anddocuments to communicate function, form, and fit of assigned product andcomponents, for internal and external customers. Leverage appropriateengineering tools (analysis, hardware, etc.) to support design, test,build, troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities. ProvideExemplary Customer Service and Communication, including executingrequests, responding to questions and building collaboration acrossteams (both internal and external), and providing technical assistanceand troubleshooting issues. Telecommuting permissible up to one day perweek. Domestic and international travel to suppliers, customers, andHUSCO facilities.
