Job Summary
Under general supervision provides administrative support to the department.Serves as a resource to Managers and Directors, and Staff. Essential jobduties include, but not limited to, daily management of Time &Attendance, bi-weekly payroll, new employee onboarding, and employeepersonnel file management. In addition, Project Coordinators contribute tothe development, roll-out, and support of divisional initiatives andimprovement projects on the unit or division as needed.
Essential Functions:1. Create and maintain nursing schedule.2. Create and maintain medical assistant schedule.3. Ensuring each shift has the appropriate number of LPNs RNs, BHTs, MAsworking as well as identifying staff who are on-call.4. Data Entry5. Clerical and organizational tasks at DCJ like file organizing, schedulingappointments, assisting other staff members, and drafting correspondencesor messages.6. Serve as a leader in professionalism and customer service. Encouragesproblem resolution through the chain of command.7. Promotes positive interpersonal (customer) relationships with fellowemployees, physicians, patients and visitors. Treats these individualswith courtesy, dignity, empathy, and respect; consistently displayscourteous and respectful verbal and non-verbal communications.8. Ensures confidentiality of patient information by creating and maintaininga secure and trusting environment by not sharing information learned on thejob, except when necessary, in the performance of the job responsibilitiesor to improve patient care.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED Required
Work Experience:
1-3 years Three years clerical experience. Required
Licenses:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to provide general administrative and clerical support to leaders.Knowledge of time and attendance tracking and editing practices.Possesses excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.Skilled in managing high volume workload from multiple leaders.Ability to organize time in order to effectively manage simultaneous projects.Ability to work independently and be self-directed.Ability to create, store, edit, format, print, and revise tables,reports, forms, labels, and other printed material using the availablesoftwareRecognizes, initiates, leads, and evaluates improvement efforts throughinitiative, judgment, tact, and discretion.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)and API or other time and attendance tracking software.
