About Administrative Assistant 2-Annual Giving

  Perform all duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor/Manager/Director.

   

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  Support for Annual Giving Office:

  Manages supply needs and ordering of requested material for the Annual Giving Office. Manage the routing and processes associated with mailings and other alumni projects. Arrange appointments, make travel plans, create itinerary for alumni visits. Coordinate mailings and printing for special events, invitations, and special appeals. Schedule events; find locations, investigate costs, and manage responses and specifics of special events. Look up information on donor management system, enter coding information to help generate reports. Update information as needed.

   

  Marginal Functions:

  Perform routine tasks including typing, proofreading, answering phones, correspondence to staff through e-mail and memos, filing. Other duties as assigned.

   

  Special Knowledge:

  Computer knowledge: data entry skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint. Must be familiar with and adhere to all the safety rules and regulations for the College Safety Policy which apply to the work environment.

   

  Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:

  High School diploma or GED equivalency Computer experience (Word, Excel, desktop publishing and database management) required. Outstanding organizational skills and strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to follow directions and attention to detail. Experience in business environment and with administrative duties. Ability to maintain confidentiality on various development prospects and administrative office matters. Overtime may be required.

   

  Salary/Benefits

  Minimum Pay Rate: $16.50/Hour

  This is a full-time position with full benefits and annual, holiday and sick leave.
