This includes customers from all over the territory within the office limits. Additionally, to occasionally follow up with general contractors to develop relationships with them that will allow us the opportunity to provide our goods and services on their projects. This position would also consist of light shipping and receiving responsibilities.View the Job Description Video Here:Major ResponsibilitiesAnalyze plans, specifications and other project documents in detail to develop a cost estimate for small projects. Once bid is complete, responsible for sending the bid out to the general contractor.Schedule and project manage the small project from beginning to end. This includes preparing drawings, hardware schedules, and effectively communicating with the general contractors.Effectively communicate with the general contractors throughout a project. This includes troubleshooting and being able to address any questions asked.Responsible for writing and processing orders in the LaForce systems once the project is sold.Develop technical aspects of the business that allow you to resolve many field problems and to become a resource for your customers needs.QualificationsBachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
