Project Coordinator, Clinical Affairs
The Project Coordinator, Clinical Affairs will be responsible for supporting a dynamic Clinical Affairs organization with the execution of administrative and operational project activities. This individual will act as the owner for assigned activities surrounding budgetary tracking of multiple business flows for Clinical Affairs. This includes but is not limited to MDR and base business workstreams.
This role will have an underlying focus on operational needs & process optimization while keeping a collaborative mindset and employing & reinforcing the use of consistent project management methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Maintain budgetary tracker(s) to accurately reflect the status of invoices, actual payments in support of MDR related clinical activities as well as base business clinical activities.
Anticipate, prepare for and participate in the cadence of internal finance updates throughout each quarter
Initiate and maintain collaborative connections throughout CA organization to facilitate engagement in cross platform efforts
Actively work toward and support process improvement to reduce redundancies and complexity
Coordinate and manage departmental metrics and presentations as requested
Maintain and execute project management tools within Wrike and monitor smooth execution of project milestones and task levels as requested
Ensure timelines are met and practices are being consistently deployed across the global organization.
Participate in department meetings.
Coordinate the receipt of documents that are required inputs deliverables
Organize, attend and/or participate in stakeholder meetings as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a technical discipline is required; advanced degree is preferred
Minimum of 3 years of related job experience is required
Experience in budgetary tracking is required
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in project management principles and methodologies is required; PMP preferred
Experience with WRIKE or other project management systems is preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills is required
Experience within the medical device industry and understanding of quality system requirements, clinical research & evidence generation is preferred
Strong interpersonal skills to enable ongoing communication (face to face, phone and email) & collaboration with team members and coordination of data collection is required.
Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of file management and other administrative procedures
Ability to work on tight deadlines
