Description Dexter based company is seeking an experienced Project Assistant. This is an excellent long-term opportunity to join a dynamic growing team. The Project Assistant is responsible for sending out quotes, setting up jobs, sending out invoices, and closing jobs. It is necessary for the Project Assistant to understand the process flow of a job from inception at the quoting stage to job completion. In this role, you will facilitate the documentation and administrative needs necessary to keep the job moving smoothly. Attention to detail and ability to engage with a number of different systems and peoples is key to the role. This role is 100% fully onsite and pays up to $23/hr.

The Project Assistant duties include but are not limited to:

• Preparing and sending out quotes setting up jobs. This includes providing information and documents to our clients that are needed for the job.

• Track quotes and assist with setting up paper folders for billing and the field staff. Customer focused service.

• Assist with sending out invoices for work we have completed using Timberline software and following up on past-due invoices.

• Various administration duties as assigned

The ideal Project Assistant will meet the following criteria:

• Experience with or understanding of construction billing practices.

• Customer service experience.

• Experience working with Sage 300

• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with a project management team.

• Must be comfortable juggling multiple tasks with critical deadlines.

• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills; high attention to detail; consistent follow through.

• Must be able to manage competing interests while maintaining a sense of urgency and meet frequent short timelines, goals, and deadlines. Requirements Project Management, Prepare Proposal, Customer Invoices, ACT!, ACT!
