Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:-
Support revenue identification and development through research, benchmarking and innovative business delivery models (Website Subscriptions; Product Licensing, both for Authorised repairers, Fleet customer and IMTs; IOS and Android application development; Compliance testing; Tool Vendor Data customer management; Contract development; and technical information & diagnostic data sales Etc,.) to fund a robust Service Engineering organisation.
Manage internal, dealer, fleet and independent operator license provision and communications.
Support tool vendor relationships, data provision and billing.
Budget preparation, consolidation, reporting (local and global) and ongoing control actions along with SEO team leader support, for all SEO purchased services and agency personnel.
Support the development of the Professional Technician System and FordServiceInfo websites, Ford Pass and Ford Diag Now, etc,.. with many different Business IT and Core IT team in terms of technical content, training, diagnostic and repair service support including planning, compliance, set up, internal and external communications and concern resolution supporting both Authorised Repairers via dealer visits, pilots dealer and the National Sales Company teams, and both Fleets and Independent Motor trader technicians in Europe.
Liaison with Diagnostic Helpdesk to investigate software and hardware concerns reported from NSC's, Pilot AR's and IMTs. Investigate at supplier level appropriate fixes and process corrections where required.
Supports analysis of 'field report' concerns in vehicle diagnostic applications, prioritising reports and liaising with Diagnostic Authors and software suppliers to ensure satisfactory and timely resolution.
Support rollout of new projects especially relating to legislative compliance.
Process and communicate changes to licencing terms & conditions on a regular basis with Ford Office of General Council (OGC), suppliers and other internal Ford bodies. Liaise with key suppliers and OGC on changes to Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Support regulatory changes, working with team across SEO, utilising progressive technology to develop and deliver innovative, low cost and sustainable processes and tools such as testing of J2534 compliant communications devices.
Respond to enquiries under legislation for technical or diagnostic data and support the development of contracts and new revenue streams from any contacts as appropriate.
Maintain Audit Control and MCRP Compliance for Service Engineering operations working with Team Leaders to effectively maintain the SEO Control files and Business Continuity Plans, Org Charts, Roles & responsibilities, Skills Matrices / DRIM & ROPA data compliance and to demonstrate compliance for internal or external audits
Excellent Microsoft skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint,and Outlook.
Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
Able to distil complex data/ information sets into key messages with actionable proposals appropriate to the audience (technicians, service managers, finance teams, senior management)
Strong organisational skills.
Works well within a team.
Self-motivated requiring minimal supervision.

Experience Preferred
Automotive Service Environment experience with a knowledge of diagnosis and repair tools
Ability to construct financial models to project revenues.
Familiarity with
Concern reporting systems.
Lean methodology for critical thinking and problem resolution
Agile methodology for IT related concern resolution.
Expertise and knowledge of Ford Systems and Processes preferred but key skills training will also be provided.
