GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide program coordination &collaboration with partners, stakeholders, & communities in the Cape &Islands region to support the HRSA Rural Public Health WorkforceTraining Network (RPHWTN) grant project. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Assist inthe coordination & planning for the RPHWTN: Participate in monthlyproject meetings & subgroup meetings as necessary to support & assist inimplementing the assessment & planning process Support the developmentof a strategic plan to identify ways to achieve better systemefficiencies & improve social supports & behavioral health services inour region Work collaboratively with the Cape & Islands AHEC Director toprovide & facilitate data & input into the assessment & planningprocess, which may include data analysis & participation by agency staff& consumers in stakeholder interviews, focus groups or community forumsWork with the community college partners/training providers to supportcurriculum design & development by providing support to the Cape &Islands AHEC Director with input of local needs Perform Outreach &Communication for the RPHWTN: Work collaboratively with the CommunityEngagement Partner & RPHWTN Outreach Coordinator to help them performoutreach, identify potential trainees, & market program training to arearesidents & employers, with specific attention to underserved,vulnerable, & minority populations such as migrant & immigrantpopulations in the region Help to communicate the results of theassessment & planning process to key local, state & nationalstakeholders Support RPHWTN program activities such as the development &review of a communications plan, a community engagement & outreach plan,& a community needs assessment Perform Data Evaluation & Reporting forthe RPHWTN: Support the implementation of the data collection &evaluation plan by working with the program Data & Evaluation SpecialistWith Network members & staff, provide data reports as needed to the NewEngl& Rural Health Association (NERHA) & the Data Collection Specialistto support required HRSA reporting on baseline & workplan measuresMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor\'s degree or an equivalent combinationof education & experience. Demonstrated ability to deal effectively withexternal organizations, businesses & the public, & work effectively withthe campus community. Demonstrated interpersonal skills & anunderstanding of underserved, vulnerable, & minority populations such asmigrant & immigrant populations in the Cape & Islands region. Strongproficiency in MS Office applications, e.g., database maintenance,spreadsheet applications, & graphics. Must be an advanced user of theMicrosoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook etc. Excellent oral &written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work in acollaborative team model.
