Are you interested in contributing to one of the biggest drivers of growth in Amazon Japan? We are looking for a motivated, ambitious Program Manager to accelerate launches of prospective Sellers through communicating the value of selling on Amazon and making it easier to start selling successfully. You will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing an outsourced team’s performance to hit productivity targets through tracking and analyzing sales metrics such as conversion rates, win rates, and sales cycle length to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. You will also act as the voice of the Seller to help drive marketing, product, and SOP enhancements, and create solutions on behalf of your Sellers. This is a unique opportunity to combine sales experience with marketing automation, product development, and customer service. The role has exposure to international teams and visibility with both Japan and World-Wide leaders.
In this role, you will be expected to think analytically and problem solve in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and balance multiple and often conflicting priorities. You will communicate with peers doing a similar role as well as cross functionally, both domestically and internationally. You thrive in an ambiguous environment where you must develop, implement and iterate on business strategies to deliver growth and positive experience for Sellers. You are hands-on, detail oriented, and have relentlessly high standards.
Key job responsibilities
Create and improve standard sales pitches to educate prospective Sellers on the value of selling on Amazon and how to get started
Identify and launch an outsourced team model to achieve lead conversion goals while practicing frugality and budget management
Create and manage goals and reporting to track leads through the funnel to identify problems and act on improvement opportunities
Identify and scale improvements that can benefit multiple Sellers, e.g. driving efficiencies through tools and processes, simplifying SOPs, improving Seller educational content, and identifying blockers in registration, while working with the relevant internal team members such as Marketing and Product Managers.
Manage prioritization and trade-offs across Seller experience, performance, and operational load.
Learn and share best practices with teams in Japan and internationally.
Liaising and maintaining regular communication with key internal and external stakeholders.
Identify and incorporate new lead channels

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience with sales/marketing/process improvement background
A track record of creating and achieving targets
Comfort with metrics and quantitative analysis, and ability to turn analysis into actionable plans; expertise in excel
The ability to work independently while using centralized resources, policies and procedures.
The ability to work in a fast paced environment and deal with ambiguity
Experience with sales data management solutions such as Salesforce
Experience creating and improving sales or customer service scripts and operational SOPs
Bachelor’s degree
Native level Japanese and business level English language skills (both verbal and written)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working closely with international teams
Understanding of SQL and data warehousing concepts
Experience managing POs and a project within budget
Experience managing outsourced labor, external partners, and productivity targets
